The Magic of Facial Dry Brushing: A New Skincare Revolution
I know many of us have been feeling a bit blue, myself included. But as we navigate through these challenging times, I’ve found a new purpose that I’m excited to share with you all.
I’ve been diving deep into the world of skincare, researching the latest trends, techniques, and tips to help us all understand and love our skin better. Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. In fact, it can be quite simple once we understand how our skin works.
Today, I want to share a skincare technique that has been a game-changer for me: “facial dry brushing”.
What is Facial Dry Brushing?
Facial dry brushing is a method of exfoliation that involves using a dry brush on your face before cleansing. This technique helps to remove dead skin cells, improve skin texture and tone, and promote healthier skin overall.
How to Dry Brush Your Face?
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to dry brush your face:
1. Choose the Right Brush: Look for a brush with natural, not synthetic, bristles. The bristles should be soft but firm enough to exfoliate.
2. Start Brushing: Begin in the middle of your forehead and brush outward towards your hairline. Use gentle, small strokes or work in a circular motion. Keep working from the center of the face and work out towards the hairline. Work down the face from the center and all the way down to the chin always moving outward.
3. Wet Your Face: After you’ve brushed your entire face, wet your skin with lukewarm water.
4. Apply your cleanser to your wet face and massage using gentle circles up and out.
5. Remove your cleanser by splashing with water or patting with a Damp Cloth
6. Now Splash your face with toner
7. Apply your serum
8. Apply a cream mask or skin this step and proceed to your moisturiser.
Remember, this technique is not recommended if you have lots of makeup on. It’s best done on clean, makeup-free skin.
